Top 10 Things To Do In Florida

Florida is also known as “The Sunshine State“, it became a popular destination in winter for the well-to-do from colder climates. It has hundreds of miles of beaches. In this article i will make you look around the city of “Latin Culture” i.e.MIAMI. Miami is a major port city on the Atlantic coast of South Florida. Now I will share with you some to-do things in Miami. So here we go:

1. Miami Beach

Miami Beach is actually a separate municipality from Miami. It is located on an island connected to the mainland through contiguous series of Bridges. The area is known for its beaches, which is the main feature that attracts tourists to Miami. The most street in the area is Ocean Drive. Here visitors will find trendy restaurants, hotels and shops.

2. Ocean Drive

One of the most famous boulevards in the city, the country, or maybe even the world, Ocean Drive is characterized by its distinct art deco buildings, its constant streams of crowds and its glittering hotel and club fronts in the nighttime. Suffice it to say that you’re truly blessed if you’ve booked a hotel along Ocean Drive because you’re guaranteed to be in the thick of things. Shopping, dining, beach activities and more are all within a comfortable walking distance.

3. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

The Vizcaya Museum and Garden is one of Miami’s greatest Treasures. The architecture, the grounds, and the artwork it contains are all worth the trip to visit this beautiful place. The name “Vizcaya” is a Basque word meaning “an elevated place.” The gardens contain a number of Italian and French fountains, pools and sculptures. A breakwater at the base of the steps leading into Biscayne Bay is carved into the form of female figures

4. Little Havana and Calle Ocho

Little Havana, the Cuban district of Miami, isn’t known for its wealth of tourist attractions but more for its distinctive cultural flavor. There are restaurants, specialty food shops, and Latin music drifting through the air.For people watching, the area offers a great deal of entertainment. There are many open-air areas where people gather to socialize. The Calle Ocho Festival is a one-day fiesta that culminates the Miami Carnival.

5. American Airlines Arena

The American Airlines Arena is the home of NBA’s Miami Heat and also the main venue for large concerts and other special events including Top Singers and Performers. It stands out prominently on the waterfront in a modern and developing area of downtown.

6. Lincoln Road Mall

Located on Lincoln Road, between Alton Road and Washington Avenue, the Lincoln Road Mall is a mile-long, can’t-miss pedestrian shopping area.In addition to several stores and restaurants, the area hosts a farmers market on Sundays, morning yoga classes throughout the year and outdoor concerts.

7.  The Bass

The Bass boasts a quality collection of domestic and international art, spanning from the Renaissance to the modern period. The museum has also earned a solid reputation from visitors and locals alike for its temporary exhibits.

8. Miami Children’s Museum

Families visiting Miami Beach say this is a great place to spend some time with kids, especially since many of the exhibits are so engaging.Kid-friendly interactive exhibits are the focus of this museum, which caters to youths with things like a mini bank, the Castle of Dreams and the World Music Studio.

9. Jungle Island

Jungle Island is a small zoo located on an actual island off of the MacArthur Causeway, sandwiched between downtown Miami and South Beach, near the Miami Children’s Museum. The site is also home to a variety of other animals including tigers, baboons, alligators, tortoises, and monkeys.

10. Miami Seaquarium

The Miami Seaquarium has long been a favorite family attraction on Florida holidays. The most notable features are the daily shows featuring dolphins, killer whales, seals and other ocean inhabitants. The facility also offers a “swim with dolphins” program that promises to teach about the physiology, behavior and natural history of dolphins.
